I knew a guy several years ago who owned and operated a liquor store and one day he "explained" Oklahoma's laws. Let me tell you this....this state has the stupidest alcohol laws in the nation. I couldn't believe how seriously idiotic the system is. It's basically a hodge-podge combination of laws made to appease state/national liquor lobbyists and archaic laws passed a hundred years ago to appease religious anti-alcohol "lobbyists". The whole system needs to be rebuilt to bring Oklahoma out of the dark ages which, as we all know, is something our state has a very difficult time doing...*cough* tattoos *cough* lottery *cough* everything else *cough*
