The FCC has now allowed cable companies to scramble/encode their basic cable signal. You may need a box now for all your tv's.

I can say that if you have Cox this isn't going to change anything for quite a while. The decision only impacts digital-only cable providers, and Cox uses digital and analog cable signals.

We just canceled our cable. I guess we did it at the right time since it was already costing more then it was worth. I thought I would miss shows like Walking Dead but found some places online to watch them free.
