Poor guys into arcade style shooters, Battlefield 3 is where it's at! Where else can you snipe an Apache pilot out of his cockpit at 1000 meters with a 98B? I was addicted for awhile and managed to log 200 hours since last October.
When I retired I started playing Persistent World MMORPGs. I got completely hooked and it wasn't long before I was gaming 16-18 hours a day. It got pretty unhealthy and I had to stop, which wasn't easy. I'd made a lot of friends online. It was like stepping into another world. I remember one young lady, a young girl really, who played almost non-stop with us who had a small baby you could hear crying in the background (we used Teamspeak for communication). It was pretty sad really. I miss those folks and the sense of community/belonging, but I'm glad I quit. Too much life goes by while you have your head stuck in a virtual world. Some people can control the addiction. I couldn't.
