Calling Coyotes

What electronics do y’all use, what rifle?

I’ll be using a Contender .223 and a Bluetooth speaker setup with my cell phone.

I have an older Primos that we have used with some success. As far as rifle, if were strictly out calling yoats then I usually take a 223 or 6mm arc both supressed.

I have the FoxPro Spitfire with a remote that works about 50 to 60 yards. Have used this for years with about 50% success rate of getting coyotes to respond to nothing happening.
& use my Ar Rifle in 223.

I’ve got a FoxPro for calling. The rifle is yet to be determined, but it definitely WON’T be an AR.

Mine is an older Bushmaster Predator, 20" fluted bull barrel.
Makes a big difference in velocity & range. One notch on the reticle of the scope adjustment for 400 yard shots. Consistent & accurate too.

i have been using a 17 wsm lately with pretty good results. sometimes i use the foxpro

All of my predator hunting is done with a Fox Pro Hammer Jack or if out deer hunting, a simple mouth call that imitates a hurt rabbit. I'd rather take a coyote over a trophy buck if the opportunity presents itself.
All predator hunting and most deer hunting these days are with the AR platform in .243 WSSM or the standard 5.56.

I use a Forxpro XWave. Was using a 24” Howa 1500 in 223, great rifle, crazy accurate, but it was just too heavy to drag long distances. Got a Ruger American ranch in 223 topped with a vortex diamondback 4-12 to replace it. Backup is a PSA AR with a 3-9 vortex crossfire.
