Or for just a yard ornament get one of Elledge's 6 PDR Cement Yard Cannon. These things are huge.

I can put you in contact with a carriage maker. Cannon's barrels are cheap, carriages are not.

Here is a link to the Pack Parrot carriage that Michael Elledge made for my wife barrel. The barrel is golf ball bore and made to scale and North South Skirmish Association safety standards.

You can get plans from Antique Ordnance Publisher Antique Ordnance Publishers - 2020 Catalog Sheets Look at plan set number 25. If you have metal working and woodworking skills you can build your own carriage.

You can buy the wheels, they are not cheap. Do not scrimp on wheels cheap wheel look ugly and will fail you. Get wheels with pipe boxings and axles with 14 spokes. This where i get mine. Cannon Wheels - Custom Wagon Wheels

Golf balls, kid stuff!. Get zinc round ball. Zinc Cannon Golf Ball Mortar ~1.67" with gates- You clean and grind These are recoverable and reshootable. Expensive, yes. But once you have used them you will not give Golf balls asecond look.
