When I was born my Mom did a birthing day box for me,,,
It contained all kinds of stuff from that day.
One of the more fun things was the newspaper comics for that day,,,
Back in 1951, November 17th was Sadie Hawkins Day.
It's changed several times over the years since,,,
But I was born on the day that,,,
Women chase men.
I sorta took that as an omen,,,
It worked well for a lot of years.
Anyways, I made it another year,,,
Even though one month ago I had a real scare.
I'm taking my two best friends out for a late lunch at Chili's,,,
We're going to pig out on Fajitas and pie,,,
Then hit the bar for a few brews.
Then I'll go home and treat myself to the new DVD set I bought,,,
I'm going to spend the next month binging out on,,,
The entire Stargate SGI, Atlantis, & Universe set.
