And, be sure to ask your bank just how long it would take to get your money put back in your checking account after it gets substantially drained. Don't forget you may also have to get a police report and file an affidavit of fraud in most cases. All this takes time and be a few days to a week or more. Bills could be late, or in a bad case you may not be able to buy things you need right now.
