Appreciate the input. It may be a moot point since I can't seem to figure out out how to use the free tool that I got with the straps.

My bracelet is really tight. I’ve tried to use the tool to release one side of the spring at at a time. Then pull on the band while releasing the other side. Haven’t been successful yet…

When those are super tight to the case, sometimes the only proper way to remove it without bending it is to use a tool that compresses both sides of the spring bar at the same time. They can be pricey though.
