Don't the Feds know that many local PD's don't like the Feds because they act above the law. The officers in the video did exactly as they should. Possible man with a gun who wasn't complying.

What is so difficult about following a police officer's instructions? All he had to do was lie down, explain he had a badge, tell the officer which pocket then get up and dust himself off! Really must suck to be the police. If there is an issue it can be handled in court!

Yep, probably wouldn't even have to lie down. Just drop the papers, hands on his head and follow instructions in a calm way.
His giant fed ego caused the whole mess.

Look, I get that a lot of folks don't like the ATF; that's understandable in a lot of instances. I realize some won't like this....but I bet this police department loses the federal suit against them given how the officers handled this.
The ATF agent made some mistakes too...no doubt.

You mentioned a fake badge--- did this guy have a fake badge? Not sure of the full story.

A couple of my friends are ATF (waaaay before the explosives was added) If I see an accountable act on either side of the LEO fence, I call it out. Having not watched the above clip yet, I'm assuming through you guy's comments there is some ambiguity as to the validity of actions on either side. Who knows, they may not be working anymore. I haven't seen them for years and it was understood if I did, I was never to approach them and say, Hi Agent So n So! One of these fellows was a Texas State Trooper. The others were all local P.D. officers.

My buds would crap in their collective britches if they were accused of anything shady.

I will watch and comment again with my opinion which I know alla youse is waitin for with baited breath.

And not start off by saying "I'm a Federal f*****g agent"when the officer made contact. Guess what, nobody cares that you're a fed and these days I don't think I'd be so quick to throw that out there.
