Claremore Man Arrested For Planning To Burgalize Damaged Houses

Just read "Blood Meridian" (about the toughest read I ever slogged through) sometimes they DIDN"T hang em they cut their ears off and carved "HT" in their foreheads....OUCH!

Wait just a minute.

They will arrest this guy but if a wife has been beaten by a spouse in the past and years later this spouse threatens to beat her again there is nothing the police can do until he actually beats her.
And 99% of the time she can't get a restraining order.


Same goes for many other things ..many of us have been told by the po po there is nothing they can do until the crime is committed.

So what is happening here?
Rules changed somehow?

Proving once again that criminals aren't that smart, and too damn dumb to keep their mouth shut. But will some lib judge let him off? Or worse yet, did some cop do it wrong or some DA push ahead without having real facts. But if there's the slightest truth to it, hang him.

I wasn't going to comment upon the legality of was-going-to burglarize a home. I was going to let the story play itself out. Still am.

I believe it's always been that way. The LEO can't arrest someone because they think they will commit a crime. It has to be committed first.
The Red Flag laws are an example where government is attempting to get around that.
