Don’t revel in the media drumbeat of reduced NFL ratings too much. Despite the boring matchup of teams, a 45 minute weather delay, and lackluster play on the field, the game still DOUBLED the prime time average the other networks combined. One thing the “ratings” aren’t accounting for is a larger group of folks getting their sports from unsampled sources. Cord cutting in the 19-49 demographic is impacting neilson #’s.

The demise of the NFL has been greatly exaggerated.

To be fair they also dropped a MASSIVE shoe release (with pre-sales exclusive to their online app orders) earlier this week which may help bolster the numbers. The Donald's outraged centipedes can't apparently outwork the hype beasts who have to get that newest colorway of the Pegasus Turbo or the Vaporfly 4% flyknit
