National Championship this year?
Yeah it’s possible.
If they would have went undefeated it's completely possible they wouldn't make the BCS. Strength of schedule. They don't have a single team left on their schedule that can help them climb in the rankings from Game 6 on.

They'd need a whole lot of help from teams above them losing.

More than likely, they would/will have a rematch with Texas in the championship game. It probably still would have taken a little help, but there was a decent chance of them making it in the BCS. Now they’re going to have at least two losses (Jayhawks and Cowboys) so there is absolutely no chance now.

Congrats again to the Jayhawks and their fans, but it still wasn't their most memorable defeat of a highly ranked Oklahoma team. I still remember that game in 1975--OU was 8-0, ranked second in the nation, and were the defending National Champions. The Sooners were riding a twenty-eight game winning streak and a thirty-seven game unbeaten streak when Kansas came to play them in Norman. OU lost 23-3. One of the most inexplicable losses in OU football history. And, somehow, they won their second consecutive national title in 1975. I'm not betting that will happen again.

It's almost like karma. So much of this thread the last 10 pages is Riley living rent free in OU fans heads. How SC squeaked by ASU, lost to Utah and now barely beat Cal. I know it will never happen but OU peeps should let Riley and SC do thier thing and yall should figure out OU's issues. At this time, the best bowl game the NCAA could match up would be USC/OU. Would be an offensive shootout.

As for Bedlam. Being a graduate and diehard OSU fan I still don't have a lot of faith OSU will come out a W. Too many issues with the O-line. That being said, if OG2 can have another 200 yard + game they may be able to pull off an upset.

Biggest question is: WIll College Game Day set up in Stillwater next week? Meaningful game and the last Bedlam game for the foreseeable future. Would be awesome if so.

It's exciting to consider that any future Bedlam games will be CFP games. Without being in Stillwater though of course.
