Sugar Bowl was a barn burner for a long while. Both teams came to play. Well into the 3rd quarter the Baylor offense got their 2nd third down conversion of the game and hadn’t scored a single point. And it wasn’t that they were playing bad either. It was that the Ole Miss defense was that good. Had the starter QB for Ole Miss not got injured and his true freshman replacement not thrown 2 INTs and got sacked 10 times it may have went the other way. Both teams were killing it on both sides of the ball especially defense, Baylor just got a couple breaks and finally wore them down late. Best game I’ve seen in a while and there’s been some good ones.
Baylor’s D is flat out good.
Yea ole miss looked good thats a shame thought they would do it.
Good year for sure but would have been cool to have seen them in the hunt for it all.
