Our kids and grandson are going to the OU vs LSU game with us tomorrow. They are big LSU fans and of course, we are huge OU fans so it should be fun. The only thing I’m not looking forward to is sitting on the LSU side. LOL!!!
Go OU, Beat LSU!!!

Gotta admit, I like OSU when they ain't playing OU, but that is pretty funny.
It’s unsportsmanlike and a perfect example of what is wrong with the morals of some athletes today. Players used to held to high standards by coaches. Now if you can play ball you get paid and are allowed to act like a thug from the hood.

I don't care what you say, these kids/guys today are largely clowns. Do they honestly think most people like to see them pull that crap. They do it for a particular audience. Hell, they practice it.
One example that is particularly irritating is when a defensive back poorly defends a deep pass and gets beaten badly, but the ball is overthrown, or otherwise missed by the receiver. The beaten defensive back then gets up and crows like a little banty rooster, accepting chest bumps and all. Yeah, good job.
When I played football at Wilson, I wasn't much and didn't have much to brag about, except tackling. But I remember my first touchdown, against Fox. Long score, 50 or so yard pass and run. Crossed the goal line and circled around, letting the ball roll out of my hands to the turf. Like, no big deal!
NO BIG DEAL?? Fox beat us the year before 80-0. NO BIG DEAL?? Yeah, it was a big deal. But I didn't think hiking my leg like a dog was a very good was to express it.
Don't get me wrong! Celebrations have a place. Acting like a fool doesn't. Oh, I forgot the clown thing!

Everyone talks about the coaches but they don’t play. It’s up to the players to execute. Didn’t like Stoops but he said it right. When asked about losing he said something to the effect of, I haven’t made a play since college so it’s up to the players on the field. I think NIL is killing college sports. No matter the recruiting program any school has, the player can be bought away.

One of Bud Wilkerson's sayings to OU players was, "When you make a TD, don't act like it's the first time"

(or something like that)
