Annie you would have to stay lit 24/7 to get the illness to which they refer!! Before bed for insomnia and pain is not enough !! And that illness only effects about 10-12% of the habitual stoners that do not know what the word moderation means!!

Actually, that's not true. Common misconception, especially one perpetuated by the folks who want to legalize weed because it fixes EVERYTHING (lol). Cannibinoid hyperemesis syndrome is a whole helluva lot more common than you might think. I know, because I've seen it - a lot.

Now, back on the rails, I wonder if constitutional carry will happen.

It happens every day. Criminals carry regardless of any law. What we need is to have laws that infringe the Second Amendment removed. That will put us on an equal footing with the criminals.

Ok NOW i remember why I decided smoking was not a viable option. We had this conversation at dinner one night when you guys were in town. My PCP also said the same thing when he suggested using MJ for my tremors. Sublingual works for me. Bonus points for not smelling up the house. (Yeah, i know ... But i am kinda weird that way. Lol)

On casual users or habitual? I have been around the stuff my whole life ,and ran into one person that had it.Not arguing with you cause your job gives you a hellava lot more back ground than this construction worker LOL. Only time I seen it first hand was a fellow worker that was stoned all day every day> LOL I wish weed fixed everything!!

Both. Problem is, almost no one is truly honest about their use, and you can never ever EVER convince them that is the cause. Regardless of improvement of their symptoms with abstinence and recurrence with relapse. They still refuse to believe it. Almost to a man. 100% of the time. It's one of the things I can count on with regularity, they will always downplay their use, and will always deny that could have anything to do with it - in spite of many many workups with extremely in-depth studies, scopes, test, CTs, you name it.

We learn to just give them some fluids, some anti-emetics, counsel them for a few moments and when the denial starts, just kind of nod, shake our heads and move on. Beating your head against the wall gets old, eventually.

My old boyfriend was that way. He smoked weed like a 4 pack a day smoker smoked cigarettes. I have no clue how he functioned or kept a job. Oh wait! He didn't! That's what he had me for! :censored: Seriously, though, he was the single most intelligent man I have ever known. Couldn't keep a job to save his soul. Put him through the avionics classes out at the airport. He did so well that he had a half-dozen job offers before the last semester even started. Went for second interviews for each of them. Got serious letters and dollar and benefit offers from each of them. Never went any further. Know why? Couldn't pass the piss test to save his soul. Last I heard he'd married some gal in Texas and she was supported him. I kinda felt bad for her but he's her problem now.
