I've given up on police helping anyone. They have no duty to protect and serve. I have an opinion, but it's not really accepted here. But they are good at filling at reports after the fact.

I saw the body cam footage. Apparently, someone maybe his partner was wanting to go in after him or something, but you can hear the cop tell him to calm down or he was going to stuff him in the back of a cruiser.

Jump in and save someone? I hope you’re trained in water rescue, because it’s a pretty dangerous undertaking.

I doubt those cops were trained for the rescue, but they should’ve called fire/rescue as soon as he jumped in.
