So far the Wu Flu has only killed about 5500 world wide. I do not expect it to kill anywhere near 100 million.

Yes but what if the Whoo-Who Flu hit you and you were somewhere in that 5500? Then it could get serious.

The only thing that seems to make sense to me is that folks think they will get diarrhea from it. Otherwise, maybe they have figured out that if it comes to blowing one's nose a lot, that toilet paper is cheaper than facial tissues.

Yes if you get it it could be serious depending on your overall health condition. If healthy, probably not that serious. If like me with damaged lung and breathing problems already, yes it could be deadly. Point is I doubt it will come anywhere close to pandemics of the past in most countries.
