Look at the weight of that crossbow, I bet it is around ten pounds or so. Too much for me.

My TenPoint XL or something (@ 300 FPS) cost $800 12-14 years ago. It still kills if a deer gets in the way and I aim straight.

I for one would be interested in the opinion of someone who has ample experience with crossbows. I've got buck fever bad, and been unable to fill tags in spite of beating the orange army 4 weekdays of gun season.
What does a beginner look for in a crossbow?
That question is going to open up a can of worms!
Got a center point sniper 370 off of amazon a couple years ago for the kids to use and it’s been a great bow. Paid under $250 for it and they’ve killed a lot of deer with it. Don’t see the point in the Uber expensive crossbows.
I’ve got a centerpoint cp400 and it’s a great bow. Happy with it!
