Damn you UPS!

I've had such good luck with UPS lately and now this happens. I took advantage of some labor days sales from surplus ammo. For the sake of argument lets say I ordered enough pmags for a small army. I left a note on the door asking the nice UPS man to leave the package behind my ac unit o the side of the house and pull the note down. I got my package delivered notification at 1:07pm and made it home at 2:30pm today and find....nothing. Note is still up on the door and no package, I canvas the neighborhood with no luck either. Sorry for the rant but today was like Christmas in reverse.

on the info notice, there are a few selections regarding a signature
a] written authorization is required to leave package or
b] sender requires signature at the time of delivery (in person)
c] adult signature required,21 minimum(driver is supposed to verify age)

Ya lol 150 pmags. Elwoodtrix, the UPS tracking website is saying "delivered" and that it was left at the front door. The usual UPS guy is usually pretty cool at leaving the packages where I ask. Hell, the last large order he delivered was 20k rounds of ammo and he joked around that when the zombies come he is going to head my way lol. I'm just hoping that it wasn't stolen if he did leave it on the front porch. I'm going to give a call to surplus ammo and UPS tomorrow and report a lost package if it doesn't show up.

I hope for your sake it wasn't actually delivered and they still have it. I had some car parts delivered by UPS a few years ago. They showed it as delievered and I never received it. I contacted them on numerous occasions and the driver says he left it and must have been picked up off my porch by someone else. I had many deliveries left on my porch in the past and since with no problems. Good luck to you.

It was a small group buy for myself and five other guys from work, same with all the ammo. We shoot quite a bit lol. I've only had a handful of problems with UPS most minor except one big uh oh (crate engine was lost). I'm giving them a call and then calling surplus ammo today to see if we can get this sorted out.
