Did you check around hidey holes in your yard or another vehicle that wasnt locked? I had a UPS driver drop off a tin of 8mm in my ol fishin' jeep(doors wont lock). I had about give up on the ammo when one Saturday morning I jumped in the jeep to head to the crick and lo and behold there in the passenger seat sat a tin of romanian.

I wish it was that simple lol, I have searched high and low. I called the UPS center this morning and they talked to the driver for me. He said that it was left on my porch and that there was no note. I think he dropped it off at the wrong house somewhere because you can't miss a full sheet of legal paper written in sharpie at eye level lol. They said that he was going to stop by today and talk with me.

+1000! All the kids around my neighborhood know I am into neat stuff(thanks son) so I have to be extra vigilant. If I stuck a big note on the door it would be read by the wrong person I fear. Plus we have a bad egg that moved in recently and he has a bad case of sticky fingers.

Back when I had my FFL and working out of my house, I ordered a Remingtom Model 700 .308 & sniper scope for a deputy on the SWAT team. Specifically had it noted on the delivery not to leave it on the porch or with a neighbor. I was to sign for it. Idiot driver was in a hurry and dropped it with my neighbor, a convicted felon....didn't even make him sign for it. At first, he claimed he never accepted it. It was a ordeal getting the rifle back.

I cringe when anything comes ups...the last one was across the street and 2 doors down....how they got that is anyones guess....they just want to get it off the truck and dont give a damn about anything else...
