That pucker factor is the thing that I don't think we, as civilian types, can fully appreciate. I too believe she 100% thought she was tasing Wright. I'd like to think her being a 26 year veteran would have lessened the possibility of this happening. As opposed to the older guy doing a ride-along cited above. He had no business being where he was.

I’m a cop. I’ve fought quite a few people resisting. I carry pepper and a baton rather than a taser. There’s no excuse for mistaking your Glock for your taser. If you get scared easily find a different line of work. All these dumb actions by cops make us all look like idiots.
We will never know how many people are hurt, killed, or imprisoned solely because they reacted poorly to contact with the police because mass media has hijacked their amygdala.
