Sure didn't stop you from passing judgement though huh?
More speculation than being judgmental.

Regardless of possible underlying political motives here... Strict liability says exactly what it means. None of the whataboutisms are relevant.
If it’s proven she’s underage and he diddled her, nothing else matters with how the laws are to be applied. Despite those wanting to excuse the dude for thinking he whored out a chick that was of majority age. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

Yes but on the other hand we've all heard it said that just because it's the law doesn't make it right or justice. And it's also not without legal controversy regarding Due Process as the paper below regarding Alaska shows. But of course many will argue Due Process should be thrown out when it comes to protected classes even if some logic shows it's really more about political/ideological motives than other things.
And also she whored herself out, but again many think protected classes should be above the law as we see with false allegations and domestic violence cases.

I’m not sure why you’re referring to as a protected class. That’s an usual way to refer to a minor under the age of consent.
Not quite sure what you meant to say there but I will clarify my sentiment.
We have allowed protected classes to be created who are not held accountable for their actions because they are "special" and always victims, they have certain weaknesses so can't be held responsible for their actions, so therefore above others.
We have done this despite the fact we know those in that class are not saints as some would like to believe and are in fact often as not just as guilty of things as those not in their class and as in this case should be just as much to blame if not more so.
The fact that we've done this is a slap in the face to both justice and true equality, it reeks of sexism and gender supremacy, and many instances can be shown of it's cost to society as a whole.
I was being deliberately daft. My point was there nothing about this that relates to a protected class. The gender of the minor is irrelevant in an underage sex crime charge like rape or prostitution.
Minors are a protected class in general otherwise in cases like this one the minor would be charged with prostitution, procuring a minor for sex/prostitution, accessory to a felony of statutory rape, or any other charges an adult would face for what the minor did.
Also minors are usually not charged with child porn making, possession, sending , or receiving because as long as no one complains because someone got pics someone didn't want them to have it's all just considered kid's fun.
Besides the above minors are a protected class overall as they're not held accountable when they commit adults crimes until it becomes "unavoidable" because they've finally killed someone, because after all juvenile court is not about punishment but rehabilitation. Whether in court, school, or home the prevalent ideology pushed for some time now is that kids shouldn't be punished.
As for gender if it didn't matter in these cases then we'd see the same reaction and outrage when female teachers get caught having sex with male minors but we don't, we also don't see the same legal outcomes either.
Another example is with the 4 boys charged with the pool cue incident in Bixby, pretty sure bet if they'd done that to a girl that would be going quite differently, they'd most likely been charged as adults where'd they'd punishment instead of a slap on the wrist they'll get as minors and it would likely be first degree rape instead of 2nd. since it was forceful.
Yet another example is making males who were minors and "raped" by an adult pay child support when their "rapist" gets knocked up, that's happened and we sure know that no burdens would be put on a female victim.

Anybody really think that if an adult male "raped" a female minor and got her pregnant, twice, and then they married that it would be considered acceptable and even made an event as in the Mary Kay Letourneau case?
