Was quoted $20 a piece to mount and balance 6 tires on my truck on the phone, scheduled a time, arrived and they wanted payment up front which was not a big deal......but they said it would be $40 each and not $20. Told them to pound sand, called another shop and they did it for $10 a tire. That was at the Enid DT.

Similar in Lawton. Was quoted $10/tire to rotate and balance, they started working on it. before they gave me my keys back, they charged me $20/tire. I'll let em fix my flats for free, but probably won't give them any business. I'll keep driving to the local tire shop in Ponca.

Boomer. Used to not like em when I lived there, but after experiencing what big cities have to offer, it's worth the drive.

No kidding. That's the tire shop we have used for years. They aren't the cheapest, but you don't get any surprises when you check out.
When I ask an opinion about a tire, I get a straight answer.
