Do I really need a bolt 22LR?

Yes. We have two bolt 22s, a Savage Mark II FV-SR and MM's old CZ 452 Scout. Y'all been mentioning one of MightyMouse's 3oz triggers, but I'm pretty sure the one he sold me is about half that. The Scout is the most fun I think I've ever had with a bolt gun.
I definitely plan on getting a CZ 457 when the price is right. Maybe a 455 as well.
Here's the Savage. Yeah it doesn't have that scope mount on there anymore, and it's definitely not a $250 rifle anymore, but we love it

Have multiple 22's but for accuracy you can't top a bolt action like a classic Springfield 1922, Anschutz 54 or a Winchester 52.
Saw a posting recently of an Anschutz at 100 yd. 10 shot .300 group.
When you look at Olympic 22 matches, bolt actions are the norm.
So yes a good bolt action is essential.
