I’ve got a Youth model Rossi break action .22 and a Stevens single shot bolt gun. Both really accurate.

I'll go along with the general consensus--a CZ bolt gun (452, 453, 455, or 457) is probably the best bang for the buck. Accurate right out of the box, with triggers that can easily be modified into something really nice.

Good to see so much love for these here. I’ve never owned a bolt action anything but I’m picking up two (22lr and 22wmr) on Sunday. Pretty excited to try them out.

So, with the cz457 barrel swap ability, I’m considering options. Anyone have opinions on 17 Mach two? I’m liking the availability and affordability of it.

And, any resources for CZ457 actions/barreled actions? I couldn’t find anything.

Would bet my Anschutz 54 heavy barrel addition in bedded and floated barrel FROM THE FACTORY will shoot with or beat your CZ

If you were gonna' own any long guns, I thought it was mandatory that you own a .22 bolt gun?
