Ok, maybe I'm a bit cheap, but I found myself with about a half dozen camera tripods and I had a thought..... Why not make one into a shooting rest of some kind? I messed with it a bit and decided it would work, and all I would need is some sort of cradle to rest the gun on. I found some parts in the shop that would work for now, and here is the not painted, but basically finished product. It works well from standing to sitting, it is really light, and didn't cost me anything. I got all excited about how smart I was, and told my buddy who is a sniper in the Army about it and he said "yeah...... that's what we use..." So I can't claim any originality, but hey, maybe somebody will find my idea useful. This one goes up to just over 5 ft, or down as low as 22 inches
