I had a dog that would chew wood and dig. We found that some really hot hot sauce spread on the wood stopped the chewing. Ground red pepper sprinkled in the dog areas stopped the digging. Cheap effective solutions.

I had a couple neighbor dogs that yapped and carried on when I went outside.
I made nice with them.
Wooden fence also.

I would smear peanut butter on a slice of bread and toss it over the fence.
About 5 of those and the tiny yapper would be full and need to go take a nap.
After 3 times of that the dog began a different tone when i went outside.

1 sammich would do

Maybe toss the dog some bologna or peanut butter bread when it meets you in the front yard and see if it will be friendly.

This is a solid good start.
It's a win: for the dog, for the neighbor relationship, and for the OP.

It is the dog owner who is at fault really not the dog.
For the most part, but when dumped or running loose, natural instincts take over.

I would love to see laws with minimum sentencing stipulations. Anyone dumping receives forfeit all assets and 5yrs jail time.

Little chance of getting caught, but is it worth the chance.
If you hate the animal that much, just shoot the damn thing.
