I have a 74 302 zf-1 5 speed adapted to dana 20 twin sticked . pb ps. work in progress tlc.

Did you put the zf-1 in yourself? Have been toying with a tranny swap to a zf-1 or a nv-3550, any running around I do in the bronco requires a 15 mile trip to town first, would love to have the higher gears.

I went the 91-?? ford 4wd f250 gasoline engine truck zf-1
5 speed route. There is an easier route using the 2wd 5 speed.
I bought 1 of the first 20 kits offered for the swap, and when advance adapters via bc broncos improved it I went with it.
I went from 3 on the tree to 5 in the floor. Very low granny with the highest ratio offered in overdrive 5th that I have heard of. Sweet shifting AND Bullet proof.
Look on BC bronco's site. They have it all - period. Saved lots of cash and frustration. Two mounts, well thought out adapter and superior steels in the spud shaft.
Yes I did it all myself and never hesitated to call if I had needed to.
If you go that route I can relate more details in the swap.

My brother had a 1970 Bronco pickup, 302 with 3 speed on the column, fenders uncut, during high school. He parked it a few years back and didn't drive it for quite a while. He sold it a few years ago for not nearly enough money.
