DALLAS - A woman who was being monitored for possible exposure to the Ebola virus was reported ill at the Dallas Area Rapid Transit*White Rock StationSaturday afternoon.

DART spokesman Morgan Lyons said the person fell ill with a low-grade fever at the station in Northeast Dallas after deciding that her quarantine period was over.

Lyons said the woman is believed to be a resident of the Ivy Apartments, where Ebola "patient zero" Thomas Eric Duncan became ill after traveling to the U.S. from Liberia.

Story has been updated:
"DALLAS - Officials now say that a woman who fell ill at the Dallas Area Rapid Transit White Rock Station Saturday afternoon is not known to be a part of any Ebola watch list.

DART spokesman Morgan Lyons said the person exited a northbound Blue Line train at the station and spit on the platform. She was earlier reported by DART to have been on a list of individuals being monitored for the often deadly illness. The woman was said to have a low-grade fever at the transit facility in Northeast Dallas."

I'm still not losing any sleep over this ebola thing.

A helicopter landed aboard a cruise ship Saturday to pick up a blood sample from a passenger who may have handled fluids from an Ebola patient, ahead of the Carnival Magic’s planned docking at Galveston, Texas, Sunday.

What a friggin waste of time and resources. This is what media-hyped hysteria gets you. Mexico won't allow a port call and someone has to send a helo to get a blood sample. All because a person handled samples from a victim. SMH.
