Thank you for the input folks. Unfortunately due to confidentiality agreements I can't disclose name or industry until a later date. The business model itself isn't a concern as much as the area and quality of life. Both towns appear to almost similar in population and are both showing age. It looks like Chickasha has had more new growth which is promising.

El Reno to me has always been a dirty town. Just passing through on 81 from the north is a royal pain having to go through town with a few blocks of doglegs and two bridges. You can take the scenic route by the cemetery and King Electric if you have 4WD on the far north road. To me the only thing the casino is good for is bands and food.

Besides in Chickasha you might get to go to the Chevy dealer. Don't know if she's John's daughter, married, dating?

Oh, but the J&W Grill in Chickasha as some awesome onion burgers !! And Coneys!!

I have eaten at J&W grill more times than I can count and yeah its good as was Roy's BBQ . When the Alamo Company was still in business over there I used to buy quite a bit merchandise from Jim and Marilyn they were good people I just don't like the town and don't miss it .

I‘ve liked Jake’s Rib the few times I’ve eaten there (and gotten “get me in a wheelbarrow and roll me out to the car” stuffed each time), but it has been a few years. Chickasha has historically been just a little too far out of the way for me to go there with any regularity.

I can’t say that I’ve ever been closer to El Reno than driving through on I-40, so I couldn’t give you an informed opinion on it.

Chickasha has better proximity to the 1st, 3rd, and 4th largest cities in Oklahoma (OKC, Norman, and Lawton, respectively) in its favor, if that’s a consideration.

If you like central and western Oklahoma those are selling points.
