There should be a more even distribution of holidays throughout the year. Generally federal holidays are pretty well spread out, but state recognized holidays are missing a holiday in that March / April zone where the weather (when there's not tornadoes) is super nice.

New cars that have the capability to get 3x the MPG that they do get.
If my 6000 lb 1980's ford van with a 302 and 2 barrel with 3.50 rear gear not using Overdrive can get 17.6 MPG average city and highway mixed there is no reason a fuel injected modern engine with overdrive can't get that.

That does not irritate me near as much as those new vehicles using oil and the manufacturer saying it is not an issue or excessive.
And the fact that they are stupid pricy.

Our technology is greater than it was in 1980's and it does not show.

I have recently thought my 1995 Corolla getting 30-35 mpg may need to get a carburetor upgrade.
See if I can muster the 50 mpg that the old Honda Civics that had carbs would get.

My ‘06 F150 4X4 will get 18mpg on the highway if I drive it like a grandpa. It has around 350HP with my mods.

My old ‘79 would get may 14 and it was completely gutless with the 351m.

Smaller engine with MUCH more HP and mileage than the old beast…

Lol honestly I haven't. But then I check in here a couple, 3 times a day and the same over at SB and I don't mess with much else. The tv is on 815 (Country Music) if it is on at all. I'm pretty sure the 2nd Coming will happen and I'll be the last person to know.
