Jedabug92 feel free to post your questions about bullet weight here. Several reloaders in this group that can give opinions.
Oh yea I know we have reloaders in the cyber building (lol) but I don't want to hijack a thread BUT since the cats out of the bag.

I normally shoot 115gr, any differences between 147 and 115 other than weight? Accuracy, recoil (it's a 9mm so what recoil) things like that.

Uhhhhh I'm fairly sure this thread was hijacked and driven into the gutter years ago.

This is what I've already told him for fyi.
"To me the 147gr has less felt recoil than 115gr but I'm loading them around 900fps. A good middle ground between those is the 124gr."

I just realized I've got around 2k +/- 124gr cmj Montana gold bullets still sitting in my reloading area.

From past experience I'd suggest bumming a few and reloading them at various velocities to see for yourself.
Some guns like different mixes.

I've seen some light bullets that had a snappy recoil, primarily because they were loaded over a nuclear powder charge. :yikes2:

I shoot some heavy bullets in my big bore rifles.
But I've learned to tone down the powder charge.
Best way to put miles back on the odometer. :rolleyes2

I'll have some reloads at the eat and shoot in November. Remind me and you can shoot a magazine full and the the recipe from my custom reloader ... :P
