Favorite Cheap Handgun Bought Under $300

I remember back in the day (1990) I was at the Wanamaker (sp?) gun show and bought a Taurus PT-92 in the satin nickel finish, with them fugly wooden grip panels. I also picked up two 50 round boxes of Norinco ammo, all for $300 exactly. Helluva good pistola, it was.

Mine had the cheap matte/satin nickel finish, that started chipping away at the barrel hood where it locked up at the breach.

But it was still a dandy pistola.

PSA blew out a lot of Dagger uppers and blem lowers a couple months ago. The complete gun was under 200 before shipping, tax and transfer.

I think the only pistol that I've paid less than $300 is a Beretta 70s in .380. That sumbi**h was a forefinger/thumb web biter extraordinaire.

I don’t have a g19 to compare it with, the grip size is comfortable for my large hands. It has a single finger groove which I don’t like.
