It never occurred to me to watch out for a fawn. Maddox did not seem excited to see the fawn. He may not have understood what it was. I hope to see the fawn soon when Mom decides to show him to the world.

Came up the driveway this afternoon and spooked a little fawn. It tried to get through the fence and got a barb in its leg.

Got out to help, but the fawn got itself loose.
Got a pic as it was walking away.

Apparently, a fawn was lucky that both of my mowing tractors were down, because for the last few days, I've been scaring it up from the long grass near my driveway when I leave for work. If either tractor had been working, I'd've probably found it with the brush hog, which would've made me sad...
