What about toilet seats? Not long after the '94 ban there was a syndicated column (I want to say it was Mike Royko's) that pointed out that there had been more murders committed in Chicago with toilet seats than with "semi-automatic assault rifles."

Talk about an embarrassing way to die--imagine the discussion in the line at the Pearly Gates. "How'd you get it?" "Jumped on a grenade to save my platoon. How 'bout you?" "Toilet seat to the head." Ewwww....
