Is this going to be one of those threads where it's better to vote for Ron Paul and feel good about yourself, than to vote for Mitt Romney and remove Obama and Holder from office?

Luckily, we weren't allowed to feel good about voting for Ron Paul in Oklahoma

Yeah...right....like it would have been any better if Romney had won....

Keep on pushing the Dem Vs. Republican mantra.....maybe...one day...the majority will realize there is no difference between the two.....

but that was before he paid for a lifetime nra membership after he announced his bid to run. cause lord knows buying a lifetime nra membership means your past gun bans are washed clean. many here pray at the feet of reagan and blast obama for gun running, backing gun control, wasteful spending. i dislike obama as much as anyone else but i knew what we were getting with obama. romney not so much. and remember 5 of 7 oklahoma elected officials voted against sandy relief but all but 1 are now with their hands out for fema relief. oh and dont forget romney care. only thing he disliked about obamacare was the name. he wanted it repealed so it can be renamed.

Yep, it would have, and there is a difference.
Did you notice that all the Republicans voted "Yes," or did that escape your attention?

In case you haven't noticed, the Republicans blocked passage of gun control at the federal level.
Care to compare what the gun laws in Oklahoma are like with Republican lawmakers, as compared to California?

Do you know what Romney's chances of being re-elected would be if he was anti-gun?
I don't care what his past was like as far as gun control...because what counts is he was now catering to the 2nd Amendment, and was dependant upon gun owners to stay in office.

We certainly know what Obama's past was as far as guns, and wow, is it a surprise he's trying to take them away?
Did you see Obama caring enough about gun owner's votes to suck up to the NRA?

Care to compare how active Paul Ryan would have been in being anti-gun compared to Joe Biden?
Just an FYI, Ryan has an A rating from the NRA.

Really, the list goes on and on as far as the track record of Democrats against Republians at the national and state level of gun control....just as the thread name suggests.

But please, go ahead and feel all warm and fuzzy about voting for unelectable candidates in the hopes of one day there being a revolution, while more and more people are on the federal payroll.
In the meantime, grownups are taking care of the here and now.

I voted for Ross Perot and got Clinton for 8 years.

Yes, it is. Romney and Obama both tried to lose. Neither one really wanted to represent "The Party" for the next four years, Obama just didn't do quite as good a job "Throwing" the match so he lost the election. They both wanted to lose, but only one can win the loss and that was Romney. His 47% comment was a stroke of genius!

They must both laugh when they see posts like this. I can only imagine their phone conversation after the election:

"These public school graduates really aren't all that sharp are they Romney" says Obama.

Romney replies, "No they're not, they still think there's a Difference" (hysterical laughing).

If you didn't vote for Ron Paul or some other candidate outside the main stream, you wasted your vote!!!!! You fell victim to the good cop bad cop routine for yet another election cycle. Four more years with a representative of "The Party" at the helm.

Only when sheep begin to break from the herd will more sheep begin to follow. Hopefully we don't make it to the slaughter house (economic collapse) before we figure it out!
