John Moses Browning set the bar, and I prefer the feel of a full weight gun(steel). Glock's are good(grips are a bit weird for me), but the Hi Power is strongly considered the most prolific battle tested handgun of all time the world around. Considering the vote, it's no wonder the Beretta is in a fight to keep it's spot in the U.S. military.

Just my experience, but hand a Hi Power to someone that hasn't ever held one and they will say, "Wow, that feels good in my hand!". Now hand them a Glock....

HK P7, I agree surjimmy. And add the Sig 210.

If we are going hi-end, how about a Walther P88? I have 2 full sized and one compact. They were hailed as the finest 9mm ever made.

I have everything on the list except the USP 9. I'd go with the Glock 17, even though I'm not a Glock fan. I love Hi Powers, especially the "T" series, but for the reasons others have listed, I'd go with the G17.
