I just gave one to a guy that reeked really bad. He was deployed to Turkey, and got back last week. It was horrible.......
If they reak I would accept gratuitous $$$. The $$$ amount is based on the sniff scale.

what knd of stain do you use on the bleaced antlers justin_h635? i have a skull i found during bow season last year that are a little sun bleached
Some taxidermist are asking outrageous prices to do Euro's! My guy here in Omaha will usually do them for $50-75, depending on the mood I catch him in! lol
$50-75 is pretty cheap. Think $100 is standard. As for stain, provincial works but I will start lighter and get darker. On this one I used Van Dykes antler stain. boiled linseed oil is your friend too. I mix to cut the stain. Use steel wool too and don't be afraid to rub a tree. Keep stain off the "outside" somewhat and stay "in" the grooves.
