How long are you in the plane from takeoff to jump? I want to skydive but I have pretty bad motion sickness. I don't do rollercoasters or boats. When I fly, I've only gotten sick on a really bad flight but I'm never really "great" when we land. I'm afraid of those little prop planes. I'd try it if I didn't think I'd puke before I jumped.

About a 30 min. plane ride up to 10,000 ft. 40- 45 sec, freefall to 5,000, and then app.10 min. canopy ride. There was no sensation of falling. The main thing you notice is the noise from the air rushing by.

What? I sure hope you misspoke. With no sensation of falling what is the point? That would complety ruin the experience for me.

At least I didn't get the sensation of falling. Only the noise and feeling of the air passing until the canopy ride and getting closer to the ground. Kind of like riding in a plane. You don't get the feeling of moving until you look down and see the ground. Nothing like being on a roller coaster.

For about 2 years I was able to say that I had taken off in a plane, flown in a plane, but never landed in a plane. Yep, the first time I ever flew in a plane, I jumped out.
We were in a small plane and climbed out and hung onto a wing brace. When the guide gave us the thumbs up, we let go. He told us to watch the plane as long as possible. I absolutely had a falling sensation as I watched the plane pull away from me.
