With that much rain, I’m more than likely not coming up this week no matter how the election turns out.3" when the rain slowed at 430. Lots more coming it looks like.
I had dusted in BFO’s, winter peas and wheat in early October. I got 2” of rain last Tuesday night and on Saturday, I already had BFO’s and winter peas popping out of the ground. I have now had 6” of rain since Saturday evening so hoping things haven’t washed out. Looks like at least another inch or two coming today.I planted the food plot behind my house here in TX last Wednesday 10/30 which is the latest I’ve ever planted, but due to dry conditions, it didn’t make sense to set myself up for failure by planting earlier. I noticed yesterday that the 4x4 was starting to germinate, and today, the BFO’s are starting to pop too. It’s had at least a couple inches of rain since Wednesday and more is predicted the next couple days.

I’m worried about my wheat I planted last week too washing out. The main area I planted most of the wheat is on a little slope so I imagine if I get too much rain in Logan county it’ll all be washed down and into the brush. Guess I’ll find out next time I head out there in a week or so.I had dusted in BFO’s, winter peas and wheat in early October.
