Found a huge spider. Never seen one like it.

I had a tarantula at the back door last night, i stepped out to wiz off the patio and he was right there ready to come in or ready to get stepped on with my bare feet. SO glad i didnt step on it barefooted!

One day when we were out dirt roadin' we encountered a massive wave of Tarantulas, apparently migrating, crossing the road....there must have been tens-of-thousands of them.
The entire road was a huge crawling black wave of spiders about 30yd long....and endlessly crossing.

It was very bizzare.

Was this back before you got sober?

Hmm......in the 80s....yeah, that was definitely before.


I'm completely serious tho'....
Three of us witnessed it and I've never heard of anyone else ever seeing such an event...at least that I can remember...that is, with the exception of the poster above who claims to have seen it as well.
I've scoured the internet and always come up empty handed....but maybe it's like a 20 year event or something, and that was before picture-phones were common.
