General Ham was the commander of our forces in that theater snd he was prepared to send troops/air power to our consulate...the General was told to "stand down"---who gave that order ??--he was, as commander, going to proceed with military aide to the embassy---within minutes he was relieved of his command---who gave that order ???---this whole Rice debacle is just smoke and mirrors to divert our attention from "who gave those orders and on who's authority"

Ok. He didn't say it was a terrorist attack, He said it was an act of terror. Ok, I give up.
He didn't talk about the extent of the planning. He didn't talk about whether or not it was coordinated with the stuff that was happening in Cairo, because he didn't know. It was the morning after, and he didn't say any number of things that he didn't know.

The whole Rice thing is because no body with a working brain wants her as our next Sec of State. Someone who would lie about the whole mess when she had already seen classified documents indicating that al Qaeda may have been involved in the Benghazi attack. No thank you.

Because, I mean normally people in the state department would just spill the beans on those classified documents.

1) She did not have to reveal them or even talk about them, just not lie about the cause of the attack to save DOHbama political embarrassment.
2) And yes with this admin they have spilled the beans on a lot of classified material when it was politically expedient for them to do so.
