What about title? Do you have to notify the state?

You might need a title to scrap it either way, a salvage yard is suppose to transfer it but some dont. There is a form you can get from any tag office that would basically wipe out the title for situations like this.

I have a 1964 suicide door Lincoln sitting in my back yard. I paid $400.00 for it because I needed the deck lid, a fellow came by the other day and offered me 50 bucks for it so I'll pull it around behind the barn with all my other "dead" cars, maybe the price will go up after the election.

Post it on Craigs list and there are usually a couple people who offer you $250... they are wanting the Cad Convert and other parts and they they scrap it... good news is they come pick it up from you.

Those old toyotas do really well in value, even not running.

I would called Total Resource Auctions (formerly Sapulpa Auto Pool) and Copart, and see what their fees would be to consignment auction it for you. They can give you the details on any titlework (if necessary) and probably give you an estimated quote on the auction.

I bet it is closer to 500 than 100.

Both of ems fees are $125 + a percentage of what it brings, plus tow fee or you bring it to them..

With metal prices falling last week, the vehicle needs to bring $300 for you to get $100. If the vehicle only brings $200 you just did a bunch of work to GIVE it away.
