Glock 42 Single stack .380

So.....the glock 42 became available this morning at Tinker.... I was going to be in the area and thought I'd just take a look at one to satisfy my curiosity. All the normal negative thoughts were bouncing around in my head, "who needs a single stack 380 when you can get a 9 that's the same size?" "Why would I spend the bucks on one of those when I could pick up a LCP for a hundred bucks cheaper?" "Why the fak am I even considering a 380...??" Geez...it was even dumb for me to even look. (I don't have anything against 380s, but I already have more subcompacts than I need)
The guy behind the counter shows it to me, I check it out for about a minute and before I know it I'm saying "I'll take it."
I know all of my original thoughts were valid, but I was immediately impressed. I'm not a glock lover or hater, but this one feels pretty good. Maybe I'll give it to my wife....maybe I'll be stingy and keep it for myself.
Is this how all the glock lovers get started?

The only way that I could buy a Glock was to get one that was kinda unique in the gun world.

G20 10mm. I do want a G29 now.

I have wanted a Glock for years because they caused an uproar from the gun ban idiots. Even with that I still held off for many years.

Dang these G42s are all the rage. I've never had a glock but always wanted a g19. I hope everyone sells their 9s and go to these. Maybe I can get a 9 for a decent price since I don't carry.

I think your silly for purchasing it and also that you should not compound your mistake by involving your wife. You can fix all of the by giving me the G42 which will keep me from sourcing one on my own. seriously, I think it's a really cool pistol and I will own one ASAP

The G42 is all the rage now. The shield has taken a back seat to it.

Will I picked mine up this afternoon.......Honestly I love it. I own other Glocks so it is familiar to me. The trigger is the same, take down, etc....Now I need to go see how it shoots. It's amazing how much smaller the mags are compared to the G27. If you are a Glock fan, you won't be disappointed....just sayin
