It will be getting a new set of tires. It used to have a set of old man running boards on it that i promptly removed when I took ownership of the truck.Check the date code on the tires. There will be an oblong oval with four numbers in it. The first two numbers will be the week and the last two will be the year.

Get that license plate covered up or you’ll never make it in the SEC.
Great suggestion. Pretty sure there’s even laws about driving on tires more than xxxx years old.Check the date code on the tires. There will be an oblong oval with four numbers in it. The first two numbers will be the week and the last two will be the year.
The long bed. The updated wheels on the 4x4 had me thinking it was a 1/2 ton. Yeah I’ll definitely get rid of the running boards. The brackets and hangers are all rusted and worn out though which is the main reason I removed them.Which one? LOL They are both 3/4 ton.
Extra running boards? You getting rid of them?
When I was in college I used to drive My 66 Bronco back and forth between Tulsa and Trinidad Colo. Lockout hubs proved a nice addition.I've driven a 1966 bronco and a 1971 bronco to Hot Springs before. Just make sure all is good prior to leaving. Cooler weather is always better. Go for it and enjoy.
