Terry,

Apples to oranges. We are discussing immigration, not abortion. "Murdered" could be considered hyperbole by someone who is pro-choice. I also would submit that the abortion question, unlike immigration, is one that will NEVER be resolve\d.

Heh....

I don't think I was the first one to go "off-topic." However, there are laws on the books regarding immigration, although they are ignored by many in government, both Democrat and Republican. Were they to decide to do so, those laws could be enforced instead of ignored. As for abortion, since it is a legal procedure created from whole cloth by a 9-member court instead of 535 elected representatives and a president. All it takes is 5 of 9 to change that one.

I disagree. As the Democrats have become a more inclusive party, the GOP has become somewhat more exclusive.

GTFO! The Democrats have just learned to pander to the minorities better than the republicans have. Just like you and that Heavy Hitter dude on TV during the daytime, you know your target audience and you play to them. The republicans have got to learn to play the game.

I would have to swing the other way and say that the GOP has tried desperately to get the interest of Hispanic voters. They're mostly catholic or other similar brands of invisible friend sorcery, mostly pro-life, and usually homophobic... in the long run, I see the GOP as a mostly Hispanic party with the fringe tea-partiers perhaps still clinging on.

You notice most of the GOP candidates this election cycle wouldn't really lay out a clear plan to get rid of illegals... I think you'll see a huge influx into the GOP over the next 10-20 years.
