If people are actually paying that, really hard to not be thinking about selling. I have quite a bit of 9mm and 45apc. Probably more than I will use in the years I have left.

It's pretty easy. I bought it when I didn't need it, now I have it and others want or need it.
It's just supply and demand.
9months ago i couldn't get $15/k for 9mm brass and had well over 15k pieces.
Basically today, I have ZERO peices of 9mm brass and I'm getting $45/k for 9 brass when I can get it.
It's just marked demand and lack of availability. That's it.

You'd think after the Obama shortage when ammo got reasonable again, folks would say, "Well, maybe just one more thousand round purchase..."

I’m sure many did but even though they’ve got several thousands this craziness has caused them to think they ain’t got enough.
