I’m looking for a gunsmith that is willing to take an apprentice to learn the trade or just let me watch to learn or just any real advice to get started. I’ve got Oklahoma’s promise if there is any real collages that teach the stuff but i found that its individuals training from an expert is better and will give you good trade secrets that work and have learned everything the hard way. I can learn things very fast and can take a part and put together most guns just from watching. Thanks for any help.

+1 on Tishomingo, when you are finished then you are ready to go to work for a gun shop and get some practice. After 4 or 5 years of experience then you will be ready to open your own shop if you just remember to buy your tools as you go.
