Any info on the H&R shotguns? Academy has them new for under 200 bucks. But I wonder about parts and accessories.

I have the Pardner Pump Protector with the 18 1/2in barrel. Its a blast to shoot skeet with it. You have to be pretty quick with the shot.

Stoger makes a nice little side by side that would work well. Comes with a rail for a light and an optic if you wanted.

Not bashing that choice, but 2 shots doesn't seem to leave much room for error.

Having had several surgeries on my neck I had no other option if I wanted a shotgun but to step down to a smaller bore. I stayed with the Mossberg pattern, and picked up a youth model 20Ga. Besides putting an additional slip on recoil pad(Gives me some added recoil reduction, and increases LOP to 13"), and a shell holder sleeve, the gun is actually a little shorter than my old 590A1(18.5" with GR sights). Granted it can't throw OObuck, but loaded with #2 buck, and backed up with slugs. Its a really sweet shooter. I also have an older Coach gun in 20Ga too. Its my "Glad to see Ya" after 8PM gun, if you don't call first!!
