Oh yeah. I wanna see opinions. I wanna see experience. I wanna see caps lock stuck on, and I wanna see lots of poo and thinly veiled expletives thrown around.
It's not as volatile as usual...but the opining is still there. I think what'll start to poo-wars it is the violent response to someone taking a complete dump on someone's precious, lol

OP, in your price range buy don't build. Upgrade trigger.
LWRC DI around $1250 has the most features of any production AR at that price point that I've seen. Excellent barrel quality, fluted barrel, ambi lower, etc.
That said....good tools IMO are:
LMT
BCM
FN
Colt (prefer pre CZ)

KAC is KAC. High priced, holds value, proprietary parts.

Lots of the "best" brands and the low cost brands have been hit or miss specific to each rifle. I've had built rifles with a Faxon barrel shoot incredibly accurate. 10 round groups @100m under 1moa. Other "higher quality" not shoot a variety of ammo or gr bullets well at all. YMMV.

Kinda disappointed honestly. Some decent opinions though, not a lot of scientific stuff or real life experience it feels though. I need to read through and catch up though.

Did have a Feed problem with my .350 legend i hunt with 99.9% of the info out is very wrong its not a mag issue or ammo issue. or feed ramp issue or the many other non solutions. but i did figure it out now its perfect. have not let the cat out yet because i want to strike it rich someday!!!:hot:

Not a lot of people are know about White Oak Armament. I am a big fan of there barrels and uppers Shop New High Powered Rifle Parts | White Oak Armament
Boy Howdy. I opted to put the parts together myself rather than pay the $75, but bolt and barrel and gas system all provided together by them. Couldn’t be more pleased. My first .308s were more problematic. Criterion delivered a barrel with an undersized gas port that took a while to diagnose. And whats his name at Criterion was not all that interested. I think I may have gone back to White Oak for the 2nd .308
